In our Madness Chronicles Episode 32, we’ll take a look at the insanity of quirks in the 2020 election. Remember, insanity is a state of severe mental illness, extremely foolish behavior, and a state of frenzied or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at some crazy things in the 2020 election.
The new American writer Luis Miguel observed an anomaly in Georgia that is interesting. Georgia voters for Trump who also did not vote for a Senate candidate numbered 818. However, those who voted for Sleepy Joe did not vote for a Senate candidate also numbered 95,801. Does that seem a bit strange?
For example, in Wyoming, things were different. In Wyoming, Biden only posted a “Biden-only” surplus of just 725 votes over the Democratic Senate nominee there, or about 25% of his netting in Georgia, on a percentage basis. It sure makes you wonder why so many people vote only for Biden in battleground Georgia, but not deep red Wyoming.”
Writer Matt Palumbo found some oddities in traditional leading state voting. He notes, “The Ohio winner has won presidential elections in every race since 1904, with two exceptions.” He found Florida similar. “Only twice has a Democrat won the presidency without winning Florida, while no Republican since Calvin Coolidge has won the presidency without it.”
Biden, defying a century of results, lost to President Trump 53.4% to Biden’s 45.3% in Ohio; in Florida, Trump won 51.2% to Biden’s 47.9%, but in a Festivus miracle, does Biden win the presidency? So Palumbo dug a little deeper, investigating the leading counties.
He noted that 18 counties have gone for president between 88 and 100 percent of the time in elections dating back to 1956. In 2012 and 2016, they all elected the president who was elected. This year, 15 of those 18 pioneer counties voted for Trump. However, voila, another miracle.
Michael Flynn’s lawyer, Sidney Powell, said: “We have identified more than 450,000 ballots that miraculously only have one vote for Joe Biden and no other candidate.” What a remarkable statistic. That means a sizable city just voted for Biden.
In Milwaukee, the National Pulse reports they enjoyed a whopping 84% voter turnout that gave Joe a 145,916 vote lead early on election night. They also note that Cleveland, a city the size and demographics of Milwaukee, saw a turnout of 51% according to their statistical average. The trend continued in the 8 swing states with record voter turnout. Credible? In Australia, a place where voting is mandatory and failure to vote is punishable by heavy fines, the overall turnout for the most recent election was just 92%.
In probably the biggest surprise, defying the punters, Joe Biden, a guy who can barely say his name without making mistakes, outperformed Barack Obama in critical areas. In Pennsylvania’s Chester, Cumberland and Montgomery counties, for example, Biden outperformed Obama by factors of 1.24 to 1.43 times. The madness and electoral miracles of 2020 are unprecedented.
