Are you looking for cool XBox games for kids? There are really some fun ones this year, in fact it was interesting trying to pick the ones that could be called the “best”! The games listed below are truly the best of the best – they have been huge sellers and have received great overall ratings. And, they are all rated “E” for “Everyone” or “E-10” for children 10 and older:

1. Banjo Kazooie Screws and Nuts for XBox – This is one of a series of “Bird and Bear” characters and tops the list of the best XBox games for kids for 2009. Banjo fights the evil witch Grunty, who is trying to master the “spiral mountain”. This is a game that is a bit more on the “experienced gamers” side; it may be too challenging for very young children.

2. Sonic Unleashed for Xbox – This game has a touch of “spooky”: the land and everything and everyone in it has been divided into two different “personalities”, including Sonic! Regardless of who it is, the game focuses on Sonic making the world right again.

3. Lego Batman for Xbox – One of the best things about this game is the ability for the player to choose from some really cool characters, all based on Lego. Players use the “digital Legos” in the game to help them win – it’s challenging, fun and, like other Lego video games, has a great sense of humor.

4. Pure Disney for Xbox – Definitely a game for “thrill seekers”: This game is not only popular with children but also with adults. I have never seen the graphics as amazing as in this game which includes some offroad racing, amazing and mind boggling jumps and some pretty intense full game play.

5. Lego Star Wars the complete saga for XBox – Another “Legos” game in the lineup! This may be one of the most fun games I’ve ever seen and it’s actually quite challenging as well. All the Star Wars movies are in this game, and the total character count is over 160! It offers unlimited game variety and tons of fun.

If you’re checking out XBox games for kids, I highly recommend any of the above list – they’re not only fun, but they do evoke a bit of thought and plenty of challenges for kids.
