For those new to feng shui, there are many concerns about ‘unfavourable’ areas of a home or business. Some advice out there is “move—immediately” and for most of us that just isn’t possible. Don’t worry though, feng shui has ample “cures” and ways to deflect those negative energies. From using energy-draining colors to cures that suppress negative chi, there are many ways to deal with those troublesome energies. Of course, if one has a home large enough to move into a different room, that’s preferable, but for those whose sprawling 400-square-foot studio space leaves little room for changing, something more must be done.
The main thing is to avoid panic; Cures can take care of any unfavorable energy, so don’t let your mind run wild with worry. If the energy is so bad that multiple 5-element pagodas are needed for one corner, that’s fine; Go find those pagodas and put them to work. If the abode is right over some conflicting ley lines, an underground stream or cavern, or other unchanging terrestrial features, some crystal placements and dowsing may be needed to divert the difficult flow of energy. around the house (you don’t want to stop it, that could lead to disaster; you just want to gently move it around the house to continue on its way).
Labor with the natural energies of mother nature will lead you to a much healthier and happier life, so it is worth going the extra mile to achieve it. Watching the changing flow of chi and moving with it is like floating down a river; paddle around the rocks or crash into them, the choice is yours. Sometimes the flow of the river carries one safely past the rocks, and sometimes it takes the boat right onto the rocks. You would make sure not to hit the rocks, right? So why not do what you can to avoid life’s difficult obstacles? Feng shui is one of those things that helps us get out of the flow that would place us in circumstances that could cause us harm.
